SkinCeuticals

SkinCeuticals is a company that was founded in 1997 and is currently based out of Garland, TX. It claims to manufacture pharmaceutical-grade powerful skincare products that are meant to promote healthy skin, treat signs of aging, and prevent future skin damage. According to the official website of the company, their product collection is based on research made by Dr. Sheldon Pinnell, a chief medical advisor and scientist. In addition to its products, SkinCeuticals is passionate about offering its knowledge through sponsorship of the Young Investigator Award and the Melanoma Research Alliance.

From a company's perspective, SkinCeuticals has been featured in different industry magazines, including Allure, Elle, Good Housekeeping, InStyle, Marie Claire, and others. From a customer point of view, the company maintains an A- rating with the Better Business Bureau. There is one closed complaint within the last several years. The majority of online reviews are negative, even though there are positive opinions as well. The most common complaint about the products of the company is their ineffectiveness and high prices.

Does It Have Any Side Effects?

SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic was published in eight peer-reviewed scientific journals and is said to be formulated under the Duke Antioxidant patent. The latter describes delivery of vitamin C to the skin. Its effectiveness is provided due to the pure l-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) at an acidic pH within the 2.0-3.5 pH range. However, there is lack of scientific research that would prove that any of the product's ingredients is able to prevent appearance visible skin aging signs due to the ozone pollution. Even though topical antioxidants can help to reduce the impact of ozone damage to the human skin but not completely. SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic should be used in the morning after thorough cleansing of the skin. You will need to apply 4-5 drops of the product to a dry face, chest and neck before using any other anti-aging skincare products. The manufacturer recommends using a SkinCeuticals sunscreen for better protection against visible signs of aging associated with environmental aggressors.

The customer reputation of SkinCeuticals appears to have a mixed character. While some people are satisfied with the quality and performance of the company's products, others are not. C E Ferulic is not a real deal, according to one customer! His order arrived three-fourths full and the serum itself was yellow in color. It might mean that the product was not good for usage any more. Another customer writes in her review that she has used this kind of serum for more than a year. She used to love it at first. However, her last purchase seems to be a cheap imitation. First, the bottle arrived without a box, it didn't smell right, and the label had some blurred image and printing. When the woman started using the product it didn't feel the same. Let us take a look at the actual customers' reviews online.

"I ordered $5,000 worth of product from SkinCeuticals for our aesthetics office and faced many problems. I was overcharged by $540, and when I contacted them, I could not receive a normal explanation. They also overcharged the taxes by $300. I finally canceled the order. I cannot do business with a company that doesn't respect their clients. There are much better skin care companies that treat their customers very well available on the market!"

"I was skeptical about buying the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic but I decided to give it a try, since I noticed that my sin started getting aging signs. I got from an authorized retailer (Dermstore). I liked it. Then I ordered the same product from the Amazon and I must say it is different. It seems to have a different formula. Its color was different too. I did not notice any positive results."

"SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic is not an actual skin care product. The packaging was blacked out, the smell was off and the texture of the product was different. I wanted to save some money but I regretted my decision. The product is not worth buying. I do not recommend it to usage."
